Full-time Facilities Maintenance

Job Description
• Responsible for washroom repairs such as daily preventative maintenance of washroom fixtures; 
• Changing of hand soap/hand sanitizer; 
• Unclogging toilets and sinks using various tools and equipment; 
• Changing/replacing burnt out light bulbs; 
• Wall repairs and painting; 
• Some carpentry work; 
• Carpet and floor repairs; 
• Vacuum cleaner maintenance; 
• Preventative maintenance on stand-alone HVAC units; 
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment; 
• Comply with safety procedures including use of required safety equipment and identify unsafe practices or conditions; 
• Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership, team members, vendors and regulators; 
• Adheres to all AGCO, GCGC, departmental and HR policies as they relate to functions of the role; 
• Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations; 
• Performs other related duties as assigned or directed. 

Work Hours: 
     - Please note this position has a set schedule of 23:00 (11pm) -07:30am, Sunday/Monday off
     - Candidates must be ready and willing to work at both locations, a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays and overnights. The hours of work and location will be based on operational needs.


Education Required: 
     A secondary school diploma or an equivalence or combination of work experience and education

Certificates Required: 
     Certification/license from one of the trade professions would be an asset

Number of Years of Previous Experience Required: 
      Experience in a related field of 1 or more years with formal training in one or more of the related trade professions would be an asset

• Maintain a positive working relationship with fellow employees and management as part of a team 
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment; 
• Ability to obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
