Main Responsibilities: Utilizing a variety of Carpentry skill sets the incumbent is responsible for kitting, fabricating and assembling elevator cab wall sections, ceiling canopies and all associated interior wall panels/frames This position works with a variety of materials ranging from wood, wood substitutes (MDF),plastic laminates, glass, lightweight aluminum and stainless steel. Using the appropriate hand-tool sand wood-working power equipment these materials are staged, measured, cut, shaped, assembled and qualified as outlined with-in the Engineering Drawing/Specification Social Interaction: Must work well in a dynamic shop-floor environment
Job Requirements: Solid understanding of the English language is required in order to communicate and understand assignments and training Responsibility and reliability is a must Candidate must be experienced working with tools and be able to read a tape measure to 1/32 Required Skill Sets: Excellent Carpentry/Wood Working skills. Minimum 2+ years of experience Demonstrated High Level Working knowledge of both Hand and Power Tools, including Industrial Panel Table and Radial Arm Saws, Routers and Sanders Ability to Read/Interpret Engineering Drawings and Specifications Ability to use measuring devices, Tape Measure/Calipers Exhibits good dexterity
